From the producers of the West End hit shows Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners and Walk Right Back – The Everly Brothers Story, this brand new production takes to the stage for 2019.

Carole – The Music of Carole King is the story of the career of one of the most successful and admired songwriters in the history of popular music.

With a cast of the UK’s finest musicians, singers and dancers, we tell the story of the music of Carole King, from its early beginnings in New York in that hotbed of creativity that was the Brill Building to life in LA, The Troubadour Club and the singer-songwriter movement of early ’70s California.

Featuring not only songs from the Carole King songbook but also songs that were written and recorded by some of the greatest artists and songwriting partnerships and iconic artists such as Aretha Franklin, The Drifters, The Shirelles, The Monkees, The Beatles, The Everly Brothers, Dusty Springfield, Little Eva, Herman’s Hermits and James Taylor.

Dancing in the Auditorium

We know that some of our audiences love to get up and have a dance when they come to see bands and tribute acts at the Belgrade, and that’s fine by us as long as they’re seated in the Stalls section of the auditorium, and are considerate of other audience members around them and not disrupt their enjoyment of the show.

For those patrons who want to remain seated we recommend that they book their seats in the Circle* where dancing is prohibited due to the rake of the seats making it unsafe.

For productions other than musical tributes audiences must remain seated throughout the production.

*Please note that for health and safety reasons this also includes boxes G and I.

Thank you for your co-operation.
