Lost and Found is a play about communications, language and friendship performed for speakers of either English or German.

August’s room is a complete mess – everything is all over the place and he wants to tidy up, but can’t even remember where most of the things came from. Judy comes to the rescue but she does not speak German. Soon the two are lost in the magic of play, forgetting about language, but somehow understanding each other; becoming friends and of course succeeding in creating a tidy room!

Join us in welcoming Junges Theatre, Werftpark from Kiel in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the twinning of Coventry with the German city of Kiel, and a rare chance to experience this innovative international performance for youngsters.

“It’s so imaginative, like only kids can be.”
“Tedious tidying becomes a children’s game.”
“It’s almost philosophical: language organizes things, makes the world comprehensible.”
