Iain Lauchlan
Oh yes he does, Oh no he doesn’t! Our own dear Belgrade Panto legend Iain Lauchlan, requires absolutely no introduction as he joins Newhall Academy and Friends as compere and more, to a host of artistes performing in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Among Newhall Academy’s acclaimed Friends providing the evening’s entertainment are Special Guest and West End Star:

Kirsty Davis
Kirsty started her performance career aged 4. She began her training locally at Allesley School of Dance continuing her Coventry connection with the Coventry Youth Operetta Group (YOG). She performed in many shows with YOG and quickly came to play lead roles. Aged 16, she was contacted by Cameron McKintosh himself, who asked her to audition for the celebrated part of Cosette in the 21st Anniversary Concert of Les Miserable. Kirsty studied Musical Theatre at Stratford College, achieving the highest marks in her year in voice and vocal work. With a passion for music now truly ignited, Kirsty went on to study Music Performance and Professional Practice at Coventry University achieving a First in Vocal Performance. Also an accomplished pianist, Kirsty has experience teaching, locally at Tile Hill Wood and the Heart of England Schools and also in Radio, TV, Theatre and Musical Direction. From the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to Cruise Ships alongside performances in many other prestigious venues including the Birmingham Symphony Hall and Her Majesty’s Theatre, London. Kirsty’s career has gone from strength to strength.

Wil Neale

Especially for the Gala Event they have brought together Michael Webster on lead guitar, Andy Grayman on bass guitar and Ellen James on drums.

Raffi Philcox
Raffi is 17 and studying Musical Theatre at Stratford College. Simultaneously Raffi also studies Vocal Performance with Kirsty Davis and piano with Carl Lewis.

David Harrop
David is a dynamic and memorable performer who simply oozes charisma. Working locally, nationally and internationally, David has performed in Theatre, Radio and on TV with an array of stars including Sir Cliff Richard and Lenny Henry, among others. A recent performance with iconic 60’s band The Searchers has led to appearances in a number of hit shows. Since being voted the The Number One Man with the Winning Smile by the Daily Mirror, David also makes time to fulfil a number of modelling contracts!

Carl Lewis
Carl is a highly respected pianist, organist and keyboard player based locally in Leamington Spa. His vast experience has him in constant demand and he regularly plays for a wide variety of events throughout the UK and Europe. Carl has performed for the BBC and ITV, at The House of Lords, The Savoy Hotel, London and for The Hilton Group, to name but a few. Carl enjoys an eclectic and versatile musical repertoire; he is equally comfortable playing classical music as he is the latest hit, not to mention jazz, blues, rock and pop!
