Pick N’ Mix by Santoshi Mann
Directed by Reena Jaisiah and Kim Hackleman

Like every well–respected figure in the community Hasmukh works hard, prays regularly and listens intently. And his God has spoken. Which is why he’s saying now is the time for his daughter to marry and continue the line. But what if your best friend accuses you of selfishness and of twisting the words of God? And what if that best friend is your daughter? Watch as one family pick their battles and mix it up amongst their community, in the search for true identity and devotion

Thurs 14 Nov
Confetti by Sabiha Mank
Directed by Balisha Karra

Idris is fasting, Remi is giving chase and Alia is fading away. In the course of one unforgettable night, one unforgivable act sparks a riot of confusion, recrimination and violence in the lives of these three friends. But is it enough to start a real revolution? The clock ticks. The waiting is over.

Following on from Red Snapper by Liz Mytton and The Merchant of Port Royal by Angela McNab, join us at the Belgrade Theatre and discover exciting new playwriting talent being developed in the Midlands.
