Following the success of their Triple Bill, Shoot Festival are back with Performance: In Bloom; a night of new work written and performed by three trail-blazing theatre practitioners.

These compelling and personal stories, each with a distinct and powerful narrative, showcase some of the best emerging talent blooming in Coventry and Warwickshire.

In Nick Knibb’s Never Mind The Horlick’s – Tales of Punk Rock & 2-Tone, we see the reflections of an older, but not entirely wiser man, looking back at what it felt like to be growing up in the Midlands during the 1970s as Ska exploded onto the music scene.

Sebastian H-W’s Rebels Atlas skilfully blends stories of London and Coventry residents into a multimedia performance charting the impact of urban regeneration on their city, neighbourhood and lives.

Finally, Cheetah Sisters is a story about adoption, identity, friendship and family, as Susie Sillett and her sister Rui share their journey through the ups and downs of sisterhood

All performances will be captioned by the Difference Engine.

Contains strong language and adult themes. Age recommendation: 14+

Performance: In Bloom is presented in association with Belgrade Theatre and is part of Shoot Festival 2019 – a biennial celebration of Coventry and Warwickshire’s most innovative emerging artists. For more information visit
