Join us at the Belgrade Theatre to celebrate the start of Refugee Week 2017.

The afternoon will begin with a panel discussion from 2pm, exploring what it means to be a place of sanctuary. We will be joined by people working for organisations who provide a place of sanctuary for refugees and migrants, talking about what they do to support those communities. The panel discussion is open to anyone and is free to attend. Reserve your place by clicking Buy Tickets above, or by calling our friendly Box Office team on 024 7655 3055.

The panel discussion will be followed by networking and light refreshments, and an opportunity to discover more about Coventry-based organisations who welcome refugees and sanctuary seekers. Throughout Refugee Week we’ll also be hosting an exhibition of community art work on our first floor Burbidge Gallery based on the themes of home, belonging and identity. Guests are welcome to visit the exhibition on the day.

If you are an organisation working with refugees and sanctuary seekers and are interested in having a free stand at Our Space, Your Sanctuary to talk more about your work, please email community3@belgrade.co.uk
