Audience Feedback

I really enjoyed Save Our School Dinners…Jamie. I thought it was just like a fantastic celebration of community and food and how they come together. I love the fact it was set in a school and had so many different nationalities of dinnerladies and it’s just something everyone can relate to.

Excellent portrayal of school life and the school kitchen scene…Well researched and thought about… to deliver a very factual representation of the dynamics and representation of the multicultural workplace in a ever growing modern city that Birmingham is. ‘Dreams , aspirations , personal conflict , budgets …the modern school scene’ … a great adaptation of the current school climate. I loved it. Congrats

I attended the play at the Rep on women’s day. What a great way to celebrate women’s day. A delightful show, so glad I came. I felt the pace was good as I didn’t lose interest throughout. I loved all the characters, they were all strong and diverse in their own right. My little boy who I bought with loved the energetic music. It had just enough sprinkling of humour and I came away uplifted. I loved the fact I could relate to the places mentioned in the play but saying that, it applied to all inner city areas.

Yasmin, HR Manager

I really enjoyed it. It brought back some school memories. Like the school meals and canteen. I would definitely watch it again. I recommend it to anyone!
