Week 1 of Summer School will be themed around making Shakespeare fun and accessible in celebration of the 400th Anniversary of our great Bard’s death.
Workshops will be very practical and energetic and lots of fun. Participants will learn new skills, expand their physical awareness and make new friends.
Summer School is delivered by experienced, DBS checked practitioners. No previous drama experience is necessary for young people to take part.
For more details, including what to bring with you, please see the Extra Information tab.

No specialist clothing or equipment is needed but we ask that participants wear something comfortable and sensible shoes/trainer, with no dangly jewellery. We recommend that valuables are not brought into the Theatre.
Participants are asked to bring a drink with them (water is best) as Summer School can sometimes get quite active!
Lunch is not provided, so please bring a packed lunch with you or some money to get something from our Café. There will be a designated lunch area for participants to use, which will be supervised at all times.
We like to be able to send you an email before Summer School begins, with all of the useful information you need to know. Therefore, please make sure you provide us with a relevant email address when you book.
