Making Memories Applications

Posted on 8 November 2017

Last week, we told you about one of our very kind Making Memories donors, William, and why he gives so generously to the campaign. One reason is to help children like Laila.

Laila lives in Coventry with her mum and four older brothers and one younger sister. The family have recently returned to the city, after escaping domestic violence, and are living in a two-bedroom flat until a more permanent home can be found. Laila is a bright and friendly little girl, but has found it difficult to cope with her step-father’s suicide last year. Laila is just 6 years of age and has never been to a pantomime.

Laila’s name has been changed, but her story is real. In fact, Laila is not alone; there are lots of children living in Coventry & Warwickshire who are facing significantly challenging situations this Christmas. Making Memories provides free tickets to productions at the Belgrade – including the panto – so that everyone can experience the magic of theatre.

Do you know of a family in need who would benefit from Making Memories tickets to Cinderella?

If so, please contact our campaign partner Coventry Foodbank for an application form. Please note; application forms are not available from the Belgrade Theatre, so please contact:
