Podcast: Neil Hannon talks about the music for Swallows and Amazons
We caught up with Neil Hannon from hit pop band The Divine Comedy to talk about the wonderfully catchy music he created for family musical Swallows and Amazons, which is playing on the Main Stage from 14 – 18 Feb.
Swallows and Amazons is a critically acclaimed new adaptation of Arthur Ransome’s much loved novel which tells a story of an idyllic era, of summer evenings and the beauty of youthful imagination.
The story follows Captain John and his able crew as they board The Swallow and set sail to Wildcat Island on an exotic adventure to encounter savages, capture dastardly pirates and defeat mortal enemies.
