The Belgrade Theatre. Belgrade Square, Coventry. CV1 1GS You can contact the Box Office by phone on 024 7655 3055, or in person from Mon - Sat from 10am until the start of the last evening performance; or 5.30pm (6.30pm after 28/8/10) when there are no evening performances. Box Office will remain open for 15 minutes after the last show has started.

How to find us


All directions: Simply follow the signs for Coventry city centre. We're just off the Ring Road at junction 9.

Parking Information


The newly extended and refurbished Belgrade Plaza Car Park is located just off the ring road at junction 9 (and signposted from the roundabout) . The car park is only a minutes walk from the theatre, is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, has 24 hour staffed security, 3 passenger lifts, toilet facilities and reception, all housed in a glazed service tower. It offers disabled car parking spaces (standard tariff applies) on Level 1 and holds the Secure Park Mark award.

The Plaza car park also has a bike rack which is free to use.

Evening parking between 6.30pm to 12 midnight costs £2 and payment can be made:

at the pay stations in the car park lobbies on levels 1, 2 and 3

pre-pay after parking up at the machines in the car park lobby

by debit/credit card at the car park exit barrier

Alternative car parks: Alternative public parking is available at the Skydome multi-storey carpark, which can be found just off of junction 7 of the ring road (next to Ikea) and is only a few minutes walk from the theatre.

Additional parking is also available at the Moat Street car park which is situated directly below Junction 7 itself.

Park and ride: A park and ride service for the city centre is operated by Centro from War Memorial Park, Kenilworth Road in the south of the City and from Austin Drive, Courthouse Green in the north. Visit www.centro.org.uk for full details.


Coaches: Please note that the coach drop off point is outside the theatre on Corporation Street and also that because of the building work at the rear of the theatre no turning or waiting for HGVs or coaches is permitted in Hill Street, Bond Street or any other area in the vicinity of the building work. Unfortunately no coach parking is available at the theatre at present. Coach parking enquiries should be directed to CVOne on 024 7622 1743.


By Bus


Some city centre buses stop right outside the theatre on Corporation Street, and Pool Meadow, the central bus station is only 5 minutes walk away.

By Train


Coventry station is around 20 minutes walk from the theatre and the route through the precinct and city centre is well marked by directional signposts.


There is no direct bus route from the train station to the theatre but the Travel West Midlands no. 27 and the De Courcey no. 585 and 85 services run from right outside the railway station to Pool Meadow bus station which is a 5 minute walk from the theatre.


There is a taxi rank directly outside the railway station and a taxi to the theatre will cost around £4 and take just a few minutes.
