Calling all bright young things - open auditions for panto chorus

Once again we’re holding open auditions to find some talented local children to appear in this year’s pantomime, Cinderella.
The open auditions will take place from 9.30am at the Belgrade Theatre and are for children aged between 8 and 16 years old.
Children will need to be at the Belgrade’s Box Office for 9.15am, where they will be met by licensed chaperones. They must be prepared to remain all day and should wear comfortable clothing as they will be required to dance at the audition. Children are also advised to bring a soft drink with them.
Parents are asked to wait outside the Box Office when picking up their children after the auditions.
Please keep in contact with your children as they will be able to advise you when to pick them up, if they are chosen to go forward to the selection, they may be required to stay all day.
We will be stopping for a lunch hour and the time of this will be decided on the day. Please pick your child up for lunch if they are still with us, we do not allow food to be brought into the theatre as we have our own catering company. Please see if there are any deals on in the Café Gourmand on that day.
Those children chosen for the panto chorus and their parents will be asked to stay after the audition sessions for a chat about licensing and panto guidelines. They will also have their initial measurements taken.
You do not have to book into this open session, just arrive at 9.15am.
