A young refugee girl living in an orphanage in Kolkata writes a letter to her grandmother, not knowing if they’ll ever meet again. Together they find heart and humanity amidst hardship.

The UK Asian Film Festival (UKAFF) is the world’s longest running and UK’s most loved South Asian film festival. At a time of global unrest, the curation of UKAFF this year is inspired by the theme Ray Of Hope. The five films selected to appear have been selected by five Coventry locals, after training in film curation.
