Ali is the only child from his village in Gujarat who goes to school. The other children have jobs and are ageing with responsibilities before having the opportunity to enjoy their childhood. Ali realizes that the only way to change the fate of his friends is by bringing education in their lives and so opens a school outside his hut. But no one comes! No one cares!

Ali perseveres in his vision to create a revolution, by first beginning the revolution within himself.

The UK Asian Film Festival (UKAFF) is the world’s longest running and UK’s most loved South Asian film festival. At a time of global unrest, the curation of UKAFF this year is inspired by the theme Ray Of Hope. The five films selected to appear have been selected by five Coventry locals, after training in film curation.
