Like There's No Tomorrow will be performed digitally as part of our City of Culture programme of events
As we enter Coventry’s year of culture, the Belgrade Youth Theatre present Like There’s No Tomorrow – one of the first National Theatre Connections plays to be created by young people, originally devised by Belgrade’s Young Company in March 2020.
Bringing together young talent from across the Belgrade’s Youth Theatre and joining groups all over the country to stage the play as part of the NT Connections programme, Like There’s No Tomorrow gives voice to young people’s concerns about climate change at a time when the future has never looked more uncertain.
Here you can find out more about the journey our participants have taken to create Like There’s No Tomorrow.
We are delighted to have partnered with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust for this online production of Like There’s No Tomorrow. In response to the three biggest threats that our planet has ever faced; the ecological crisis, the climate crisis and the human health crisis, the Trust have launched their Nature Recovery Fund which aims to create new nature reserves and bring wildlife back to Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
10% of all donations raised by Like There’s No Tomorrow bookers during the run will be gifted to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust‘s Nature Recovery Fund. Remaining donations will be retained by the Belgrade Theatre and reinvested in the work that we do, including our ongoing work with young people.
