Although live performances are temporarily on hold, our café is open and serving food and drinks in our spacious foyers. We look forward to welcoming you back.

We regret to confirm that due to ongoing restrictions on indoor performances, we have made the decision to postpone our 2020 pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, until 2021. You can read a statement from our Artistic Director here.

We are now in the process of contacting everyone who has booked tickets, and would like to ask for people’s patience and understanding as we manage this process with a reduced staff. If you have purchased tickets for the show, please check your email inbox for further communications from us.

In order to speed up the process, we kindly request that you wait for us to contact you before getting in touch with us. Please note that phone lines remain closed while our staff continue to work from home, but if you paid in cash and did not leave contact details, you can let us know by emailing

A number of other shows from our Autumn 2020 Season have also been postponed or cancelled, and we will be contacting everyone who has booked for these. A full list of affected shows can be found below.

This situation has obviously put the Theatre under huge financial strain so if you feel able to donate part or all of the cost of your tickets it is very much appreciated. You can also make a donation to the Belgrade to help us through this difficult time.

We can’t wait to get back to offering you fantastic shows and events, and hope to have further information soon. Please support us by making sure you’re signed up for email and postal updates from us so we can get in touch with all the details as soon as they’re available.

In the meantime please visit our café and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where we’re providing all kinds of fun and engaging activity.

We want to assure everyone that the health and safety of our visitors and staff continues to be our priority. We are currently adhering to all guidelines issued by the British Government and Public Health England regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) risks. You can read more about the steps we are taking here.

The Belgrade Theatre Trust is a registered charity (number 219163). This means that all the money given, raised or earned is not distributed as profit but kept and reinvested in the work that we do. We rely on the continued support of our audiences, funders, corporate partners, Members and donors to ensure that we can continue to develop our artistic and education work and remain central to the communities that we serve.  Our normal terms and conditions continue to apply and refunds or credits will be made for any cancelled performances.

We are monitoring this fast changing situation daily and will continue to review the situation. Thank you for your patience and for your continued support.
