The latest mobile phone. A new dress for the party. A second car.

Maru’s parents have worked hard for their money. They’ve earned their right to a little comfort.

But the pollution in the air means that Maru can hardly breathe and she can’t bear that no one can see the connection.

And to add insult injury, the local mayor plans to build on the park she played in as a child.

When a mysterious crack appears through the middle of Maru’s home town, someone has to sit up and take notice.

The Belgrade’s Young Company brings together a group of the city’s most talented young performers. Following on from the success of the last Young Company show Rise in 2017/18, Like There’s No Tomorrow gives voice to young people’s concerns about the climate and asks whether we should care about the earth we live on.

Commissioned by National Theatre.

Electric ZOO proudly supports the Belgrade during the run of the Belgrade’s Young Company’s Like There’s No Tomorrow.
