There are lots of different ways to get involved with the Belgrade Theatre with a variety of career opportunities in both creative and administrative departments as well as in-house training and development.
Positive Action and Diversity Statements
The Theatre Industry is disproportionately represented by people who are white, able-bodied and from a narrow range of socio-economic backgrounds. The Belgrade Theatre is on a journey to change this and we seek to encourage applications from those who are currently under-represented in the Theatre Industry.
We are committed to increasing the diversity of those working in and for our organisation, in whatever capacity. We believe that inviting and supporting applications from people with a diverse range of backgrounds, identities and life experiences strengthens and enriches the work that we do.
Our current jobs and opportunities are listed below.
- Catering Assistants (Casual)
The Belgrade is looking to recruit Casual Catering Assistants to help with the preparation, presentation and sale of food and beverages in the Belgrade’s cafe and bars in addition to events and conferences.
- Front of House Volunteers
Volunteers are valued members of the Belgrade team. Volunteering is a great opportunity to gain practical work experience, learn new skills and make new friends, whilst playing a vital role at your local theatre.
- Deputy Catering Manager
The Belgrade Theatre is looking to appoint a Deputy Catering Manager. With City of Culture 2021, the Theatre’s own recently completed expansion plans and neighbouring property developments due to open in the next few years, there are huge opportunities for growth.
