With more than 200,000 visitors a year, we’re thankful to have such great supporters. Our donations come from many different sources. We receive support from our audiences, funders, corporate partners, members and donors. All of which ensures we’re able to keep playing a central part in our communities through artistic and educational projects.
The Belgrade is a registered charity: the Belgrade Theatre Trust (Coventry) Ltd (no. 219163) to give us our full name. This is important. It means all the money we’re gifted, raise or earn goes directly to fund our work, rather than be distributed as profit. Donations then really do make a direct difference.
We’re proud to be part of the Ramps on the Moon ‘Change Programme’ – joining cultural leaders across the UK to challenge ableism and embed anti-ableist practice at the heart of our organisation.
This is more than policy. It’s about culture, leadership and action. A year-long journey to reshape how we work – for good.
We are delighted to be taking part in the BIG GIVE Arts for Impact 2026 campaign this March!
Between Tue 17- Tue 24 Mar, donations made to the Belgrade Theatre via the BIG GIVE webpage will be matched and doubled.
That means if the public donation target of £5,500 is reached, we will receive £11,000!
The money raised will go directly to support the Belgrade’s work in the community, supporting projects that are contributing to the creation of our next co-created show, Nanny of the Maroons
