See It First 2025: Charlotte McShane and Sinéad Brady

As part of See It First 2025 Charlotte McShane  presents Sepondment  by Sinéad Brady, a very silly, wry look at the world of wild swimming, nature and loneliness.

Team Bios:

Sinéad Brady is an actor, writer and poet from Coventry. Sinéad plays with language, movement, comedy and clowning with the hope of bringing people together to imagine a more curious and caring world. Sinéad has performed in the UK, Ireland, Spain and has most recently co-created Two Towns, an audiowalk with live performance, in Chemnitz, Germany, as part of Chemnitz’ year as European Capital of Culture 2025.

 Rosa is an actor and theatre maker from Dublin and is director of Sepondment. She recently starred in Chicken at Summerhall, Edinburgh Fringe 2024. Frigid, a play she wrote and performed in, won the Bewley’s Little Gem Award (for best show under 60 minutes) and was nominated for Best Performer and Best New Play at the Dublin Fringe Festival 2022. The show has toured Ireland and staged at Underbelly as part of Edinburgh Fringe 2023. She has a MA in Theatre Practice from the Gaiety School of Acting/ University College Dublin and recently trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

Charlotte McShane is Sepondment‘s producer. She is also an arts administrator and performance artist. She has worked in theatrical venues and festival spaces such as Arcola Theatre, Manchester International Festival and End of the Road Festival. She has performed on stages and in toilet cubicles for the likes of Vaults Festival, New Zealand Fringe Festival, Word of Warning, Contact Theatre and Camden People’s Theatre. She was an artist in residence at the Lowry Theatre, Class of 2019 and graduate of Tramshed and Carnesky Finishing School, 2021.
