Blindspot Nights is a Coventry-based scratch night dedicated to bringing unseen stories out of your blind spot. They will be coming to the Belgrade as part of See It First 2025.
Blindspot exist specifically to serve the often unmet needs of working/underclass artists in the sector. They do this by prioritising fair wages, long-term development, and access to learning & resources that respond to what working/under-class people actually need.
They pay Equity rates, and don’t split fees. They are also the only standalone scratch night in the UK with a formal House Agreement with the union, affirming their commitment to pay standards & working conditions and giving artists confidence that they are being taken seriously.
In 2025 they’re also expanding to provide more than just scratch nights, introducing a full workshop programme, a monthly dramaturgy lottery, and more.
Blindspot were on of the Belgrade’s 2024 Springboard Companies, receiving support from us to scale ideas, consider capital, fundraise, create a business plan, and create and develop projects.
