The Belgrade is proud to be an Artsmark Partner supporting schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey, inspiring children and young people to create, experience, and participate in great arts and culture.
We offer education settings who are working towards, or currently hold an Artsmark Award, a range of opportunities:
Continued Professional Development
The theatre has developed a programme of CPD for primary and secondary schools. We also chair a Secondary Drama CPD Network, run in partnership with the cultural organisations of CW10.
Ticket Offers
The Belgrade offers specially discounted tickets on a range of shows, as well as one free teacher place for every ten seats booked. Many of these productions are also supported by teaching materials or practical activities which are designed to deepen understanding and engagement.
Workshops for Schools & Education Settings
We’ve developed a range of workshops to support teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools/education settings. Sessions are designed to promote creative engagement and skills development across a number of curriculum areas.
We also offer a popular enrichment model, where learners spend the day at the theatre working with a range of professional artists to develop their creative skills.
Bespoke Projects
We develop bespoke workshops and projects in partnership with local schools, and particularly welcome opportunities to explore STEM subjects using creative pedagogies.
