Hands Off Takeover

Tues 3 Aug, 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

Join us on Tues 3 Aug when Hands Off take over our Roundabout theatre.

The event will include a workshop and music/poetry performance on the themes of sexual abuse, rape and grooming, to raise
awareness and address issues around consent.

The event will be supported by CRASAC (Coventry Rape and Sexual Assault Centre) and FWT (Foleshill Women’sTraining).

Hands Off Takeover will take place in the world’s first pop-up-and-play Roundabout theatre, located in the grounds of Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre in the Wood End area of Coventry.  This event is part of Roundabout 2021 – a festival of new plays and community activities taking place for Coventry UK City of Culture 2021.

Hands Off was set up to raise awareness of sexual assault, rape and grooming, for it to be taken more seriously, for women to feel empowered, heard and dealt with in the right way. They give every survivor a voice, no matter what the experience is. They want a change in society and how it deals with sexual assault, rape and grooming
