Have you always wanted to try your hand at acting, learn more about theatre, or maybe you’re just looking for an opportunity to meet new people? Our Adult Acting Classes are the perfect way to develop new skills, stretch your creativity, build your confidence and have lots of fun.
Running weekly at the Belgrade Theatre, our Adult Acting Classes have been devised in accordance with government guidelines on COVID-19 and can be delivered online should the situation require.
As we launch the city’s exciting year of culture, and begin to explore a new world as it recovers from a year like no other, we find ourselves surrounded by all kinds of accounts and stories, and hopes for the future. This Summer term, we will be exploring verbatim theatre – a form of documentary theatre made from people’s words, using this unique method to reflect, look forward and present a different kind of performance.
Adult Acting is led by experienced practitioners from the Belgrade. No previous drama experience is necessary to take part. Just bring comfortable clothing and footwear, a bottle of water, and a readiness to try something new and different.
We like to be able to send you an email before the Acting Classes begin, with all of the useful information you need to know. Therefore, please make sure you provide us with a relevant email address when you book your place.
All participants will receive additional information about what to expect under these COVID-19 circumstances ahead of the start of sessions.
Please note, places are limited so early booking is essential.
At the Belgrade the safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority. When you visit the Belgrade you will find safety measures in place throughout the building, including Track and Trace, social distancing and the wearing of face coverings. We will continue to follow government guidelines and have signed up to UK Theatre’s See It Safely campaign to ensure that you can enjoy the wonderful experience of live theatre safely. Find out more about the safety measures we have in place here.
