For one night only, our stunning Nineteen 58 bar and restaurant will be home to more than just spectacular food as crime history meets luxury cuisine.

After a brief introduction to the evening, guests will be treated to an exquisite starter and main course prepare by the deliciously talented Sarah Jenkins. The owner of Host Dining Coventry, a private catering company focusing on reinvented classics and innovative new dishes, Sarah brings over 20 years of experience in the culinary business. Having catered for touring bands, collaborated with local chefs and hosted recipe classes at Coventry’s Pod, she is currently head chef at Gonzo situated on Earlsdon high street.

The night will then take a gruesome twist when passionate true crime author and historian Adam Wood takes over to present a talk about a historical, and frighteningly local, murder. The author of several books, founder of historic crime magazine, Crime Through Time and a regular documentary consultant for TV shows , such as Unsolved Mysteries (Netflix), Adam is an authority on sharing grisly tales in a captivating and accessible way. 

Once guests are sufficiently filled up on murder, the attention is back on the food as a comforting and irresistible desert and petit fours are served. Throughout the courses, Adam will be on hand to discuss the talk and his work, giving you space to digest both your meal and the evening’s shocking revelations.

Watch this space for the creative, premium, and most importantly delicious menu. With an evening this intriguing, tickets are bound to sell fast, so you may need to book before the menu is released to avoid disappointment.

Alongside your meal, a drinks package can also be booked, which includes a welcome drink of prosecco (or non-alcoholic equivalent), one glass of white wine and one glass of red wine. Additional drinks can be purchased at the Nineteen 58 bar throughout the evening.
