Join us for an exclusive tasting menu in Nineteen 58 from locally celebrated caterers, Host Dining Coventry.
For one night only in our beautifully refurbished Nineteen 58 restaurant and bar, we’re hosting an exclusive evening of local cuisine with a tasting menu from acclaimed local chef, Sarah Jenkins.
Sarah is currently Head Chef at Commonground, Fargo Village and is also the owner of Host Dining Coventry, a private catering company focusing on tasting menus as well as other private dining events.
Sarah has catered for touring bands, collaborated with local chefs, hosted recipe classes at Coventry’s Pod, and is currently working with Tobias Reutt of Earlsdon Supper Club, producing bespoke tasting menus.
Sarah presents this tasting menu with long-time collaborator Joel Gore, who has shared kitchens with Gordon Ramsay, James Martin and Mary Berry.
Joel and Sarah have been sharing their passion for food and swapping recipes ever since their days in food technology lessons at Stoke Park back in the 90s. Having enjoyed some lavish collaborations for private events, this will be the first time they join forces to feed the general public.
The tasting menu features six dishes:
- Homemade bread & butter
- Wild mushroom ravioli in a Parmesan broth with spring onion
- Octopus with smashed potatoes and piso
- Slow braised pigs cheeks
- Olive oil ice cream & apricot
The menu doesn’t include drinks but the Nineteen 58 bar will be open throughout the evening.
