Summer School 2024 (ages 8 – 12)

Summer School is our annual week-long (Mon – Fri) drama programme, open to young people aged 8-12 years.

Whether you’ve performed on stage lots of times before, or whether you want to try something new, Summer School gives an opportunity for each young person to shine.

Participants will take part in practical drama sessions, led by professional theatre-makers. Each day we will develop our performance skills, and we will create our own brand-new piece of theatre which we will share with an invited audience of family and friends on the Fri afternoon.

Taking part in Summer School is a really exciting way to send a week of the Summer Holidays. Participants are able to spend time in a welcoming and supportive space, where they can develop confidence, improve their team-working skills, make new friends, and have lots of fun!

This year, we will be running a familiarisation session before Summer School starts. The familiarisation session will allow participants to meet the team who will be running the workshops, see the spaces where we will be working, and ask any questions they may have about the week. Please be aware that young people aged 11-12 are welcome to join either week 1 (5 – 9 Aug) or week 2 (12 – 16 Aug) Summer School programme according to date preference and availability of places.

Places for Summer School are limited, so early booking is recommended.
