Summer School 2025 (Ages 11-16)

The Belgrade Theatre’s Summer School is back!

Summer School is our annual week-long (Mon – Fri) drama programme, open to young people aged 11-16 years.

Whether your child has performed on stage lots of times before, or they want to try something new, Summer School gives each young person the opportunity to shine.

Led by experienced facilitators, the programme supports young people to develop their performance and collaboration skills, while creating an original piece of theatre to share with an invited audience of friends and family at the end of the week.

Taking part in Belgrade Theatre’s Summer School is an exciting way to spend a week of the Summer Holidays. Participants will spend time in a welcoming and supportive environment, make new friends and have lots of fun!

Places for Summer School are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Young people aged 11-12 are welcome to join either week 1 (4– 8 Aug) or week 2 (11– 15 Aug) Summer School programme according to date preference and availability of places.

This year, we will be running a familiarisation session before Summer School starts. The familiarisation session offers participants the opportunity to meet the team running the programme, see the spaces we’ll be working in, and ask any questions they may have about the week. If you are interested in booking a place on the familiarisation session, please contact Jess Trodden at jtrodden@belgrade.co.uk.

We are committed to making sure that Summer School is inclusive and accessible for everyone. Please email communityadmin@belgrade.co.uk if you have any questions about the programme.

*Early drop-off (from 8.45am) and late pick-up (up until 5.15pm) is available for £25 for the week. To book this option simply select ‘Additional Optional Childcare Summer School’ when prompted during the online booking process.
