The Belgrade Theatre’s Summer School is back!
Summer School is our annual week-long (Mon – Fri) drama programme, open to young people aged 11-16 years.
Whether your child has performed on stage lots of times before, or they want to try something new, Summer School gives each young person the opportunity to shine.
Led by experienced facilitators, the programme supports young people to develop their performance and collaboration skills, while creating an original piece of theatre to share with an invited audience of friends and family at the end of the week.
Taking part in Belgrade Theatre’s Summer School is an exciting way to spend a week of the Summer Holidays. Participants will spend time in a welcoming and supportive environment, make new friends and have lots of fun!
Places for Summer School are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Young people aged 11-12 are welcome to join either week 1 (3– 7 Aug) or week 2 (10– 14 Aug) Summer School programme according to date preference and availability of places.
We are committed to making sure that Summer School is inclusive for everyone. Please email communityadmin@belgrade.co.uk if you have any questions about the programme.
This year, we are running a familiarisation session ahead of Summer School.
The familiarisation session will give young people and their families the opportunity to meet members of the team who will be leading the Summer School, see the spaces they will be working in, and take part in some taster activities to give an idea of what to expect. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
The session is perfect for anyone who is thinking about coming to Summer School, but would like to find out a bit more before committing; and also for those who have already booked but who would like a familiarisation before we start.
Places for the session are free but should be booked in advance HERE.
