The Belgrade Café is now open for takeaway

Our brand-new café is officially open for takeaway and outdoor dining!

We’re delighted to have officially opened our brand-new café for takeaway and outdoor dining. Open from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday, come and check out our stunning, newly refurbished space. Our upstairs bar, Nineteen 58, will be open from Monday 17 May.

Our new offering of locally sourced food includes nachos, loaded fries and loaded salad, with delicious toppings including guacamole, tomato salsa, salsa verde, coleslaw, sour cream, crisp fried onions, shredded lettuce, pickled red onion and lots more.

You can also enjoy soft and alcoholic drinks as well as a variety of cakes.

There is a one-way system in place for takeaway and outdoor dining. Customers can enter the café from Belgrade Square and exit onto Corporation Street where seating is available. Seating can be reserved by emailing jclayton@belgrade.co.uk.

From Mon 17 May, you’ll be able to see the new café and upstairs bar, Nineteen 58, in all its glory, as we open for indoor dining as well as live performances.

The interiors have been beautifully designed by Lazzeri Creative Interiors and inspired by our origins. Beautifully realised by Corstorphine + Wright Architects, our new space is decorated with vintage show posters and artwork from across the decades.

Don’t forget that, as a registered charity, every penny you spend with us goes towards supporting our work with and for Coventry’s communities.

The refurbishment work has helped us to reopen and has been achieved as part of a £5.4m capital project. This is funded through the Cultural Capital Investment Fund, which is resourced from Coventry City Council, Arts Council England, Local Growth Fund and the Getting Building Fund from the Government through the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
