We’re reopening for live performances next week

Our first live performances of 2021 begin with April in Paris starring Joe Pasquale and Sarah Earnshaw

Next week, we’re delighted to be one of the first venues in the UK opening our doors for the first live performances of 2021.

Our Main Stage will host John Godber’s classic comedy April in Paris, led by comedy legend Joe Pasquale and West End leading lady Sarah Earnshaw.

Al and Bet are in a rut. Married for 26 years, their conversations are running dry and life has taken its toll. There’s little to look forward to apart from the odd trip to the pub.

But Bet longs to walk with the Pharaohs in Egypt, sunbathe on golden beaches and climb Alpine mountains, all fuelled by her love of magazine competitions with holidays as prizes. Finally, she wins a night away for two to Paris in April.

Will this enlightening trip to the most romantic city in the world revive and reconnect this lost couple?

While we can’t travel abroad at the moment, allow us to transport you to sunny Paris from the comfort of your seat in our auditorium.

“It’s wonderful that theatres are being brave enough to do this and it is brilliant that Coventry is letting us open April in Paris there. It’s a lovely theatre with lovely audiences. It’s always a pleasure to play there, but this will feel really special.”

– Joe Pasquale
