Songs for Survivors of the 21st Century is a moving and uplifting new opera theatre show written by Vanessa Oakes (words) and Vahan Salorian (music).
A life-affirming and heartfelt celebration of our shared humanity, Songs for Survivors of the 21st Century welcomes the audience into an Emergeny Reception Centre as survivors of the current loneliness epidemic.
Funny as well as sometimes sad, this show reminds us that connection and belonging matter, and asks what would happen if only we had more time for each other.
Please note: this is a promenade performance so the audience will be standing and walking around the space. A limited number of chairs will be available for those with access needs.
