Making Memories

A visit to the theatre is a magical experience and often a treasured memory. Unfortunately, due to financial hardship or illness, many families across Coventry and Warwickshire are not able to make these memories.

Thanks to the kind support of audiences, corporate partners, staff, Members and Barclays Bank (Coventry branch), we are absolutely delighted to announce that our Making Memories campaign, 2017, raised a record-breaking £10,822.

This is £3,622 over our initial target and makes it our most successful Making Memories year to date. Your generosity enabled us to offer 761 Cinderella tickets to 170 local families facing difficult circumstances. Partnering with Coventry Foodbank ensures those most in need benefit from the campaign.

“The children haven’t stopped talking, to anyone who will listen, about their brilliant night at the Panto! Thank you to everyone who donated to the campaign, they have made a lot of children very happy” Teacher

Here’s a little thank you message from the Ugly Sisters

Our Making Memories campaign runs all year, so we won’t stop just because the Christmas tree and decorations are no longer in theatre foyer. In fact, thanks to your fantastic support, we have been able to provide another 93 tickets for families to watch Horrible Histories in May 2018.

It is also particularly heart-warming to note that, since we started this campaign 6 years ago, you have donated a staggering £33,063 and supported 2,228 people (approximately 500 families) to experience the magic of theatre.

Support Making Memories by donating online:

  • £15 a ticket for a child who wouldn’t otherwise be able to watch this years pantomime
  • £36 1 child ticket and 1 adult ticket to see Sleeping Beauty
  • £60 a family in need with tickets to see Sleeping Beauty
