The Big Give

Arts for Impact

Tue 17 - Tue 24 Mar 2026

The Big Give Arts for Impact 26 fundraising campaign – donate and see your gift double.

We are delighted to be taking part in the BIG GIVE Arts for Impact 2026 campaign this March!

Between Tue 17- Tue 24 Mar, donations made to the Belgrade Theatre via the BIG GIVE webpage will be matched and doubled.

That means if the public donation target of £5,500 is reached, we will receive £11,000!

The money raised will go directly to support the Belgrade’s work in the community, supporting projects that are contributing to the creation of our next co-created show, Nanny of the Maroons; our award-winning Digital Media Academy which introduces young people to all aspects of tv and film production, and projects like Next Steps which develops theatre skills for people with learning disabilities.

At the Belgrade we see every day how transformative engagement with the arts can be for young people. By donating you will help address the lack of opportunity for those from disadvantaged backgrounds across Coventry by developing transferable skills – boosting confidence, well-being and mental health, improving educational outcomes for students and creating new opportunities and career paths for young people.

To double your donation, you must donate via the Big Give webpage. Donations can only be made between 17 and 24 Mar.

Your support will ensure more people across Coventry can be reached, increasing opportunity and changing lives; and remember at this time your gift can make double the difference, so please donate if you can.

Remember donations can only be accepted 17-24 Mar and must be via the Big Give website

We would like to thank our match fund partner, Arts Council England (ACE), for their generous support.

“Students gained a massive amount of confidence from being in a creative environment that was different to school. Working with workshop staff, and students from other schools, gave our young people the opportunity to practice their social skills and gave them independence.”

– Teacher feedback on Next Steps

“Seeing a production that has been produced and made in Coventry by Midlands creatives really lends itself to the performance and within the Belgrade you can see the sense of community.”

– Audience feedback on Romeo and Juliet

*Donations are only matched up to a total of £5,500, we are however still able to accept donations above this target.
