Join our popular Over 60s HUB, coming back for Autumn 2026. This is an exciting time to be part of the group as we host the first of our Artist Residencies, welcoming experienced practitioner Kathi Leahy to lead a 10 week programme, that will explore FUN & GAMES.
Playing games is important at every stage of our life, for human connection and communication, for sharing narratives, for co-operation and collaboration, to explore conflict and resolution without real-world consequences, and for stress release and for cognitive fitness.Â
Games can be fun, they can be challenging. They can allow us to explore rules, boundaries, and unpredictable elements and they act as a metaphor for exploring life.Â
In these 10 sessions we will explore games and play and how we can use both as a starting point in the creation of theatre. Â
Alongside this we will develop our theatre skills toolkit.Â
Skills focus:Â
VoiceÂ
Fun vocal warm-ups will explore breath and voice and how we can use the voice, not only for text, but as a tool to create atmospheric soundscapes. Â
MovementÂ
Our body is a powerful performance tool. We will explore how we can use our body in storytelling and emotionally connect with an audience both individually and as an ensemble.Â
As HUBs members, participants will have opportunities to develop their theatre-making and performance skills, meet new people, and explore new and different forms of theatre.
HUBs members will also receive:
- Free tickets on selected home-produced and co-produced shows.
- Discounts on tickets to other shows.
- 10% discount at the café.
- The opportunity to co-create new work and perform to an audience.
- Invites to exclusive Belgrade events.

Bursaries:
Full and partial bursaries are available for those who would not otherwise be able to access the programme. The final submission date for bursary applications is Mon 28 Sep 2026.
