Belgrade Book Club: The Woman in Black

Thurs 2 May 2024

Calling all bookworms and story lovers!

The Belgrade Book Club is back! For our next meet up, we’re inviting the book lovers of Coventry and beyond to gather together at the Belgrade to read, chat, and meet like-minded, reading enthusiasts. Reading stories from a list based on our theatre programme, you’ll have the chance to discover the characters, their journeys, and their adventures before seeing them brought to life on our stages.

On Thurs 2 May, the group will discuss Susan Hill’s chilling ghost story, the legendary, Woman in Black which has been adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, and visits our main stage Tues 30 Apr – Sat 4 May 2024.

Obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black, Arthur Kipps engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul.

How to join this Belgrade Book Club session:

  • Book your space for the meeting via the Book Now button on this page – it’s completely FREE.
