Giselle – 20th Anniversary Tour 2026

A Romantic ballet in which love triumphs over betrayal.

In 2026, we proudly celebrate 20 years of touring classical art across the United Kingdom. Over two decades, our productions have reached thousands of audiences nationwide, bringing timeless masterpieces to life with international artists and full live orchestras. This anniversary season is a tribute to that journey — and to the audiences who have made it possible.

Giselle tells the heartbreaking story of a peasant girl who falls deeply in love with Prince Albrecht, unaware of his true identity. When the truth is revealed and her heart shatters, Giselle succumbs to her grief. In the spirit world, she joins the Wilis — the ghosts of betrayed young women who dance men to death. Yet when Albrecht arrives at her grave, Giselle’s love rises above vengeance, protecting him from the Wilis’ deadly fate.

A masterpiece of the Romantic era, Giselle is celebrated for its emotional depth, ethereal choreography, and hauntingly beautiful Act II. Performed with a full live orchestra, this production captures the power of forgiveness and the enduring strength of love.

Join us this Autumn 2026 for one of ballet’s most poetic and moving works.

Classical Ballet and Opera House also bring their productions of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker to the Belgrade Theatre this November. Book for all three productions and save 15% with My Belgrade Subscription. Find out more.
