We're delighted to announce our full cast and creative team for this year’s family favourite panto Beauty and the Beast, written by and starring the award-winning Iain Lauchlan.
Leading the cast of Beauty and the Beast is writer and director Iain Lauchlan (a veteran of numerous pantomimes in Coventry, including most recently Sleeping Beauty, Dick Whittington and Cinderella) as Dame Dorothy Do-It. Appearing in his 15th Belgrade Pantomime will be Craig Hollingsworth (Sleeping Beauty, Dick Whittington, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) as Willy-Do-It. Sion Lloyd, who played The Beast in Beauty and the Beast at the Belgrade Theatre in 2009 and 2021, will return to the role, and in the role of Belle will be Abiola Falokun.
Morna Macpherson will be The Enchantress, and making his Belgrade Theare debut in the role of Gaston will be Dylan Andrews. Playing Beauty’s dad Harold will be David Gillbrook (Jack and the Beanstalk, Puss in Boots), and Aonghas Ewen (Sleeping Beauty, Dick Whittington, Cinderella) will be playing both the Prince and Ensemble. Alice Ellwood will make her Belgrade Theatre debut as part of the Ensemble and Ayo Akande will also be part of the Ensemble.
Alongside Writer and Director Iain Lauchlan, the creative team for Beauty and the Beast are Jenny Phillips (Choreographer), Ian Westbrook (Set Designer), James Maciver (Costume Designer), Jason Taylor (Lighting Designer), Chris Mock (Sound Designer), David Haller (Musical Director), Jamie Noar (Musical Arranger), Lisa Connell (Fight Director), and Vicki Stevenson (Assistant Director and Choreographer).
Coventry based Imagine Theatre are once again associate producers on the panto.

Beauty and the Beast will run from Wed 18 Nov 2026 – Sat 2 Jan 2027.
