Coombe Abbey Renews its Support of the Belgrade

As a keen advocate of the Belgrade, and a Corporate Supporter for over 10 years, we’re delighted that Coombe Abbey Hotel has committed to continuing its support of the Belgrade.

Despite changes in leadership, major redevelopment, and the catastrophic impact of a global pandemic (for both parties), the relationship has undergone a recent evaluation and of the partnership; Director of Sales at Coombe Abbey, Kathy Nakra, says:

“We are proud to be partnering with The Belgrade. As patrons of the destination we are keen to work in partnership with other businesses, and by coming together we hope to continue growing Coventry’s tourism following The City of Culture and celebrate this vibrant city.”

More details about Coombe’s bedchambers, Garden Restaurant and events can be found at coombeabbey.com. No Ordinary Hospitality also operate St Mary’s Guildhall, IXL Events Centre and several retail outlets across Coombe Abbey Park and War Memorial Park. There are a range of great benefits from being a Corporate Supporter, such as priority booking and VIP night invitations, exclusive behind-the-scenes tours and brand exposure. However, for Coombe Abbey Hotel, the partnership is centred around developing opportunities to raise awareness of both venue’s exciting leisure and creative activity. Whether it’s a Staycation at the hotel, a day visit to The Avenue at Coombe, joining a theatre workshop, or watching a show, cross promoting work is how these two Coventry organisations support each other.

Helen Hotchkiss, Head of Development at the Belgrade says:

“Building relationships with corporate sponsors is vital to the long-term sustainability of our wide-ranging charitable work, including our youth and community drama groups, our world-renowned Theatre in Education programme and our exciting talent development opportunities. We are delighted that Coombe Abbey have committed to continue their support of our work, and we look forward to developing our partnership with them throughout 2023.”
