Critical Mass playwright Santoshi Mann shares a story from her children's collection My Ancient Indian Village

Happy International Children’s Book Day!

Today, we’re celebrating with a guest storytime video from the brilliant Santoshi Mann, an alumnus of our Critical Mass playwriting programme.

In addition to being a playwright, Santoshi has begun working on a series of children’s stories called My Ancient Indian Village, and was excited to share the story of Little Govind’s Baby Calf with you as a taster of her story collection.

When you’ve finished watching the story, we’d love you to have a go at drawing some of the characters! Can you imagine what Little Govind, the baby calf or the greedy King Kans look like? Share your pictures with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
